De naam PAWS staat voor Power Assisted Wheelchair System. Het is een aankoppelunit waar kracht, ergonomie en functionaliteit gecombineerd wordt met uniek gebruikersgemak. De PAWS City is ideaal voor dagelijks gebruik. De City kan worden geleverd worden met een 12” of 14” voorwiel en is met een draaicirkel van 1m ontworpen voor plaatsen waar minder manoeuvreerruimte is. De City kan hierdoor ook binnenshuis gebruikt worden.
Er is geen bevestigingsmateriaal nodig op de rolstoel. De PAWS kan zowel handmatig als elektrisch aangekoppeld worden. Beide manieren vragen nog geen halve minuut om aan te koppelen. De elektrische manier van aankoppelen is ideaal voor gebruikers met een verminderde handfunctie. De City kent twee stuurstanden waardoor veel gebruikers de PAWS kunnen bedienen. Keuze uit standaard of tetra handvatten. Er zijn ook meerdere mogelijkheden om de stuurpositie in te stellen, kies de positie die bij jou past! De PAWS kan achteruitrijden, heeft een extra 'loop' modus (4 km/u) cruise control en traction control bij glad wegdek. De maximum snelheid is 25 km/u.
